Hint #1 for riddle #25:

My friends and I look like a rhombus on the map,
There are 8 pieces of us to cut up.
One of them is always sad- it's true,
There's nothing you could do.

Crystal trees?
You can find them in nature and cities. When you look at an active tree it points to the heavens.
The crystal trees form a rhombus on the world map. There are eight crystal trees to cut.
Can't work out the other parts. (I'm sorry I'm bad at explaining). Lurk

You explained almost everything.

The last part of the hint when one of them is sad, means there is one who's never activated (the one in priff).
