hard one, pathfinder armour? its hybrid so you can wear it above everything else it has better stats then tier 10 armour, same stats as tier 20 and worse then 35...so you wil forget it (stop wearing)

Your explanation for the riddle itself is right, and as you didn't explain the hint, I will.
I will hide your voice in the dust, --- Hide your "voice" as in, hide your "mouth" where the voice comes from. The facemask hides your mouth from the dust.
While in dungeons it is me you trust. --- When you go in the Smoke Dungeon in the Kharidian desert, wearing the facemask will save you from losing 200 lp every 12 seconds.
I can also save you from the worst, are you nonplussed? --- The "worst" as in, the "devil", or well, "dust devil". The facemask will 'save' you from a dramatically decrease of your stats while fighting a dust devil.
Be creative, it's a must. --- Just to say to be creative because it's not very clear
