Our hero walked back across over the Northern bridge over the river Lum, past the Lumbridge furnace and headed Northwest. To his left our hero could see the crater the Cook mentioned. "By Guthix beard!" our hero said to himself. What could've caused that? Must've been some very powerful meteor or something, our hero thought.
Further ahead he saw the mill and a nearby wheat grain enclosure. He went into the field and picked up a bunch of grain, enough to fill a pot of the finest flour you could make. Except, he had no idea how to turn grain into flour, only knew from Ashdale that it involved a mill somehow. But our hero would soon find out.
Our hero went inside the mill and there stood a young woman with dashing ponytails. Our hero approached the young woman and asked: "Hi, how do I make flour out of this grain?" "Wot's yer name?" The accent took our hero by surprise. "What's yours?" our hero retorted. "Millie Miller, guv! At yer servaice." She made a snide bow with her right hand outreached to the side. "Whad'cha name thar, guv?" She pressed. "My name's Dwayne, what's it to you, Millie?" "I suppose I was jaust curious, guv, not meny folks 'round 'ere use da mill, see." Millie continued after a pause looking Dwayne over, "I jaust want'd tha 'now thar fella who'd finaally use da mill, see." she had her right hand on her hip by now. Scrumptious little thing, this Millie, Dwayne thought. "Well, will you help me or do I have to find out by myself?" with a snarky smile Dwayne asked. Millie sighed and pointed at the ladder and said: "jaust cliamb up to da 2nd flooor and put da grain in da hoppas aand work da levas. All dats to it. Da flou-ar will be groaund up and drop into dis thar box 'ere." "All dats to it", she repeated. Dwayne nodded and said: "Thanks, 'ppreciate it."
Dwayne climbed the 2 ladders up to the 2nd floor and poured the grain into the hoppers, pulled the levers and he could hear the grain shoot down the hoppers and grind up.
Dwayne went back down the ladders and in the flour box he was greeted of the most quality top notch white powder man had seen, and he scooped it up into his pot and said his goodbyes and went walking back to Lumbridge Castle, but his curiousness lead him through the crater; Dwayne wanted to see it in all its glory on his way back.
The crater bore as a large scar on the land, Dwayne noticed that a man stood at the center of the crater which had a large hole dead center. He man was heavily armoured and noticed he was adorned with Saradominist insignia. Clearly this was a man of Saradomin, Dwayne thought.
Dwayne walked up to the man standing at the hole, he wore a helm so Dwayne couldn't see his face. "Excuse me, sir", Dwayne inquired. The man gathered and focused on Dwayne, "Yes?" "What happened here? What caused this crater?" Dwayne asked. The man replied: "This was the glorious battle between Our Lord Saradomin and the evil Zamorak in which Saradomin became victorious!" There was a clear pride in his voice as he spoke. "The evil Zamorak wanted the divine energy of the fallen god Guthix for himself, but Saradomin intervened and stopped him successfully. Yet Zamorak was able to escape his fate." Saradomin fighting Zamorak ... and Guthix, dead? Dwayne was a tad bewildered at all this new information. A god can die? Dwayne was astounded.
"The life force of Guthix was here?" Dwayne asked. "Yes. That sounds like even an adventure someone like you could undertake." The man nodded slightly. "huh?" Dwayne was puzzled.
Dwayne took all this new info to heart as he trekked back out of the crater to Lumbridge Castle, all the backside of the Castle had been blown away, yet it had been tidied up and cleared of debris. Dwayne walked around to the entrance and into the Castle and into the kitchen and greeted the Cook and presented the super large egg, fine flour in a pot and the top quality milk he had gathered.

"Splendid!" The Cook was obviously pleased as Dwayne handed over the 3 special items and the Cook poured it into a tin and mixed it together to make a delicious looking sponge cake. "You've saved my day." The Cook relieved, "and for your help, here, have this." The cook took out a hamper and handed him 500 gold coins, in the hamper were 20 sardines. "What about the birthday celebration? Am I invited?" Dwayne asked the Cook. "Nope. You're not. Only the big cheeses dine with the Duke." The Cook was a tad uptight about Dwayne wanting to attend the birthday party of the Duke. "...One day." Dwayne muttered to himself. "What's that?" The Cook didn't quite catch what Dwayne said. "Nothing." The Cook remembered: "Oh, and you can use my quality range for your travels as well, it is so super and fine, much easier to NOT burn food on this Cook-o-matic 25. That even you couldn't botch up." "OK." Dwayne was unimpressed by the Cook's snide remark.
Looking at the sardines, he thought these would come in handy in battle when he's feeling down. "Where is the Duke anyways?" Dwayne asked the Cook. "He's on the first floor", the Cook replied. "Well, can I talk with him?" Dwayne asked a bit nervous. "I suppose." The Cook leaned his head backwards as telling him, wondering what some common man would want to talk with the Duke about. Dwayne saw another of these circular pebbles, right were he had earlier picked one up. Strange, oh well, in my backpack it goes, Dwayne thought as he picked another of the circular pebble with the strange symbols on it, before going up the stairs.
On the 1st floor he saw a guard standing vigilant and a man loitering. They didn't take notice of Dwayne as he passed them and went into the first room. There stood a woman across a spinning wheel making what looked like brown bow strings from some flax. I shall take note of this spinning wheel, Dwayne thought, might be handy when I want to make my own bow.
