Before I say anything I know there has been more than a few posts about this. But hey this is mine cuz I am one unhappy chappy.

200m exp.. plus a good 100m + more since..

I would say I have been hunting it since release. But given the threshold of 'increased' chance being static after 200m.. I will only query about that.


Am I doing something wrong here?
- I only ever siphon t90 items/ crystal siphon tools
- Only at level 12.
- As I said.. 200m exp for max odds.
So that is the largest base exp drop. Which should be the max chance of the pet. Right?

I suppose what I wanna know is: How the heck does the game even figure out the roll on getting pet. Cuz I feel like my account and my sanity.. and at this rate my bank balance are all broken.

Your chance of getting malcom with each siphon is 1.38%, that's the best chance of getting pet. Don't worry, you're not the only one who's unlucky, I know someone else who's 326m dry. You'll get it eventually... hopefully...

How to calc pet chance
P = (exp gained from action)x(modifier)/9,000,000,000
modifier is your virtual level, jumps to 200 if you're 200m xp

Hey listen, i am not really a huge fan of my pet.....wish it was different.

took me roughly 25-27m after 200m to get it......

......i would honestly have no issue traing it for my brother firemaking pet and then try and get my pet again. Co-Owner of Stormguard...the bird is the word.

Damn that would suck.. glad I got my pet after 1 fish-o-matic siphon straight after release... hope you manage to get yours very soon!

It's actually 2.208%. If you are at 200m XP, the modifier is virtual lvl + 200, so 120 + 200 = 320. Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)
