^ Awesome work, just need to say this to you: You'll probably be the first one to figure out the spring cleaner success rate post-nerf if you keep this up :)

Be sure to state your spring cleaner level (9000 at least.)

And also the configuration.

How many springs does it cost to upgrade the spring cleaner, and is it worth holding off on Slayer until you get one? Or is it so rare you're better off Slaying anyways. And, if so, do you pick up rune drops to alch or do you simply not bother at all? Personally I'm nowhere close to being able to do Slayer (due to not having gear/weapons/money for cannonballs/weapon poison, blabla) but it'd be interesting to know whether it'd be worth getting into Slayer as soon as possible (due to effigies for example) or leaving it until the moment I get a spring cleaner. Signatures are overrated.

I wish. I don't think I can figure out the success rate without the exact drop rates for rune items.

It's lame how Jagex won't just give us a database for drop rates and the like.

The fourth upgrade (9000) requires 4000 Springs. It provides the maximum success rate.

The fifth upgrade (9001) requires 10000 Springs. It unlocks the ability to clean noted drops.

I quick upgraded my cleaner with 4000 Springs on the day of the update, and fully upgraded it through use, which I think is the most efficient thing to do.

In the context of efficiency, absolutely.

I don't think it's that rare.

If I can do so without lowering my damage output, yeah. Sometimes I go a bit out of my way for 4 or 5 bar items.

For example, since Airut are killed in such a small spot, it's easy to work in virtually lossless picking up of uncleaned platebodies and platelegs.

However, in the Edimmu dungeon, I often leave rune items. An Edimmu kill is worth ~25k in Blood necklace shard, so taking the time to pick up an out-of-the-way item instead of getting another kill is a really bad choice.

Just a heads up on a tiny mistake I noticed in the spreadsheet, your task weight for aviansies in F40 references the incorrect cell for whether or not the task is blocked.

On that note, huge thanks to everyone who's put their time into gathering all this information, I'm not quite a powerslayer but it's been immensely useful nonetheless.

Finally on the subject of drop rates - while it'll have a minuscule effect due to their worthlessness - abyssal whips were reduced to 1/1024 in the drop table update a while back, source: http://www.webcitation.org/6NJr3HH6i

I'm interested in the t90 gloves as well, partially because I've had noticeably worse luck with only 4 pairs in 12k airuts. Maybe it is just bad luck, but if I had to guess, looking at the tendency towards powers of 2 I'd place them around 1/2048. Interested in finding out if anybody else has a sizable amount of data on this.

Good catch, not sure where that got filled wrong, but it is fixed now.

It's not a huge deal, but I'd rather wait until I can leech 5 Penance king kills for a Collector's insignia before recording Edimmu.

I'm currently using a Ring of wealth and an Attacker's insignia, and it's kind of gross. :p

Oh, and Lifer, I don't think I'd recommend a Collector's insignia at Glacor. I feel as though a Scrimshaw of the elements greatly affects the kill rate.

Working on upgrading my computer. I'd like to be able to record all tasks without slowing everything down. I just missed out on recording 152 Airut in 20:20 (449 kills per hour).

Coincidentally, I managed that kill speed last night using reaper neck + turmoil instead of zealots. Knock-out was active and superior attack too + blood nihil. I think more accuracy was needed (and prioritizing tagging airuts together for aoe abilities.)
