So, I haven't gotten a leg piece in over 400 kills, wore LOTD every kill. But I have gotten a lot of trisk keys. Is it possible that wearing LOTD at Rax makes ur odds worse because it makes RDT more likely?

P.S. the likelihood of getting at least one leg in 400 kills is 1-(39/40)^400=.9996001967 or 99.96001967%.

You roll a static 1/40 (<40 with ring) leg piece chance each time, so nothing will conflict with it, just make sure you switch from asylum's ring to lotd before you click the chest. And that sucks man but those odds have to happen to someone. My worst was only like 200 dry. Just keep trying, gl

Luck of the dwarves ring increase your rare item drop chance rate by 1%. So lets say for example leg piece drop rate is 1/40 and with the ring its 1/39 that means that you should potentially get it in 39 kills with Lotd equipped and it doesn't mean that other rare drops will decrease this number. It means that with the ring you should get all rare drops more often. This reminds me of the days when we believed that worlds can get dry or empty after getting rare item we used to hop. Good old times. Keep trying and you will get your drops :)

Legs are a separate roll, you either get them or you don't. You won't get trisk keys instead of legs.

this

all special drops are seperate

once guy got leg part, hilt, pheremone + pet + regular drop all in one loot

I had LOTD proc for first time at Raxi yesterday. It was a fang drop. Was beginning to think it didn't work there, lol.

no one knows if it works coz jagex are useless

if u are wearing lotd, it "shines" every single time u get a leg part or hilt, regardless of whether or not the ring actually helped at all

still no way of knowing if/when the ring does anything

i think they said something like "we have made it so that a message is sent telling you what you recieved when your ring shines so that you can see its working" even though u dont need it to access rdt table

literally the ONLY way you can tell if lotd works is if u get a HSR drop

Well, I think the ring does "technically" help every time. For example: some "rare" has a 90/100 chance of dropping. You'd get it pretty often, but the ring reduces it to 90/99. Even if almost every single time you would've gotten it anyway, the ring did marginally improve your odds.

While I know everyone really wants to know "did the ring's influence specifically cause it to drop?" that would be more difficult.

i imagine you would just split the roll into two separate rolls

say, leg part is 1 in 30, and ring makes it 1 in 29, so thats about a 3.3% increased chance?

so have one roll of 1 in 30, and if that fails, have roll of 1 in 900, as that would be equal to the chance that its supposedly increasing it by, and THEN, if that 1 in 900 chance comes up on the reroll, THEN the ring is allowed to shine lol

I'm curious because I think this is a little dry but if you get a hilt piece does that remove your chance of getting a leg piece? I have 2 leg pieces at 164 KC but I also have 2 hilts so I'm wondering if it's still considered going 'dry' since they're 1/39 with LotD. I think I should have 4 if that's the case?
