the harsh truth is that, indirectly, the players killed guthix themselves - hear me out

MTX only came to be because jagex was sold, nd jagex wa only sold because its makers because disillusioned with the player base - people cheat, abusing every glitch as much as they can before its patched, they scam lie and hack, they use bots - this caused the gowers to become disillusioned and sell the game to those who then put profit before integrity

so if you have to blame anyone, look around you

every time u saw someone power mining onyx's day and night because jagex messed up the balance, every time u saw people 76k tricking in the wildy, every time u saw someone safespotting a boss in an unintended safespot - even if they were doing these things long after the balance fell, these are the people who brought the wrath of MTX down upon us all
