I'm ostensibly being asked for feedback on comp rework, but I don't feel like my feedback will even rise above the shill of feedback from paid gamers in whose interest it lies to overvalue the sillier acheivements. I have comp cape and I only did Telos once. Thats all I want to do. Its a boring ass fifteen minute fight with slayer xp and it rewards only players who get a paycheck from google owned youtube to do over and over. I'm not bad at pvm either. I was base tank for 200 loots of Yaka with my perm team.
I really thought with six categories or whatever that it'd be like... pick 4 and max those to move tiers. Cause y'all made the same mistake when making the first comp. You looked at what all Omar had done, and then made that list what comp was, and Omar had left a lot of stuff undone like "collect all slayer heads." He wasn't complete when he got complete cape, and moreover... this is a pay by the hour game that should have no way to win. There should never be anything that makes paying players feel like they won, finished, and now "go outside" (the in game text joke that came with the cape).
If T1 cape is all the combat stats and teleports I need then know this: I am never getting T2 or T3 capes and the google paid boys can have it. I am writing in this
HIDDEN
subforum because I don't want Google hashing what I write now. Thats also why I aint using reddit. I been real famous for playin games before, and I was barely able to avoid the corruption of turning into a paid gamer. Luckily I have stayed amateur, unpaid, unpro, as if staying a qualifier for the olympics of old.
That, btw, is what kills e-sport. Y'all can kiss the credibility of your e-sporting goodbye if you don't separate paid from paying gamers. Cause if yer a paid gamer then you -will- pickle your liver on anti anxiety meds. I will not. I do enjoy the full range of human emotions, and I'm not changing into a cyborg to entertain children.

So... my main feedback on comp rework is to consider that you don't have it, and I don't think it'd be valuable, and that I just have to wait and cope with whatever the paid gamers trick you into doing.

and instead of doing 15k telos kc for more money, I opted to do 200k arhat with 100m slayer xp. I liked it most especially because no one else was there, and it even felt like the same soloist pursuit.

The passive unlocks is kinda cool. Seems like they ruin the part of actually having to wear a specific cape though. Max guild tele on a cooking cape will feel odd.
Assuming they spread out the combat tiers, would hopefully end some of the reaper drama. Cause looking at the teamwork forum section with 4 pages of leech threads, its like an mtx achievement with pay to win shortcuts.

Hope they get the rework right in the end.
The thing is - you'll actually start wearing specific capes for their special effects again, since you're no longer locked to comp (or a lesser extent max) for its various effects. What currently isn't good that you're not even able to replicate a max cape with the passive stat boost (not to speak of comp) - but the cape slot would actually be something, which could be used as a reward for new content again. The regular best in slot capes are just t70 after all right now.

I personally hate the combat system. They keep adding bosses and new "ways to do combat", but it's all the same thing and it's all really boring. That said, Castle Wars and most other minigames are dead and pointless, so it's nice to replace standing around at castle wars for having to fight a bunch of stupid bosses.
