thank you kags for your wealth of port knowledge
one more question, i know u say 10 and 7 ancient bone mission because that's assuming u are using merchant on the ship. what is your reasoning for this? would it not be better to instead have another crew to increase the success rate rather than having a merchant?
also, would jade merchant give the same bonus as terracotta since the .03% is negligible? or do u actually get more trade goods from use the terracotta instead?

There's no reasoning it's just math. For almost all voyages, even if terracotta merchant (TCM) reduces the success chance, it still more than makes up for it with the +33% boost. In the long run, the math favors using TCM.
Why would you use jade merchant when TCM is better in every way? TCM has more than twice the morale (1300 vs 600). The extra 3% will add up in terms of resources. The extra morale will help success chance.
