Just curious if random events have been nerfed a bit. At worst, I was getting one every other day. Most of the time, I had been getting one per day. Now it's been almost 10 days since my last one. What is everyone else experiencing?

I've gotten my daily random event almost always (>95% rate) since Player Owned Ports release - nothing has change.

Have you talked to all 3 NPCs? Are your Shield voyages winning? Sending all 4 ships 24/7?

Question:

Section 57+ (Crew Analysis)
Let's use The Arc and The Skull as an example.

For The Arc, you have what looks like this:

I'm new to the player owned ports so forgive me, but I perceive it as this:
• I have 25 crew slots.
• Buy 5 Varrock Chefs (no more, no less).
• Buy 2 First Mates (no more, no less).
• Buy at least 2 Cyclops if I'm still in The Arc.
This puts me at 9 slots used for those, so I have 16 slots to fill with (in list of priority):
• Cyclops
• Travelling Drunk/Stowaway/Smuggler

This is assuming I'm still in The Arc. I'm in The Skull now, myself. So your next section is about The Skull, which looks like this:

From what I mentioned before, I perceive this information as this:
• I have zero crew slots left, so I must dismiss all of my previous crew and replace it with this:
• Buy 2 Eastern Overseers (no more, no less)
• Buy 3 Siren Whaleriders, replace with Eastern Guides
This leaves me with 20 slots which I should prioritize with the following:
• Siren Whalerider
• Eastern Bannerman/Eastern Musketeer/Eastern Guide - buy 5-6 of each.

My question is: do I replace all of my crew every time I move on to a new island? If not, what do you mean when you say I should buy 5-6 of each of those basic crew when I'm only limited to 25 crew slots?

Thank you.

^ means same as above.

Yes, upgrade crew every time new region is reached. Replace crew 1 at a time. Don't dismiss all 25 crew the moment you reach a new region... .... ....
