This Halloween event. Please stop these "skill and gain tokens every 5 minutes" type events. They completely lack substance, and turn what use to be a fun seasonal piece of content into a "Grind". There's no feeling of holiday or community in them the way there use to be with the old Halloween, Easter and Christmas events.
I've just completed this years "Halloween" event already and feel no accomplishment.
Who are you trying to appeal to with this type of content? There's no NXT buyables (from what I could see) so you're obviously trying to get players to sink in a few more hours than they normally would have with these copy&paste type events, but they leave the player feeling like they've accomplished nothing, so they'll not return back for more..
I suppose i'm just ranting a bit, but this genuinely comes from a place of care for this game and the integrity of it for the years to come. Please use your staffs talents and create actual content, even if it is short burst of enjoyment for the players - it's really noticeable.
Even the miniquests were boring, only the 3 ghosts ones could barely be called fun. Better than nothing I suppose?

You haven't actually tried out it before opening the post.
That's not one of their usual grind x tokens promotions, it's also not utter crap like the christmas '13 or halloween '15 events. It can be done in a reasonable amount of time - do the quests and stay for a while longer at the manor grounds to earn your missing rewards, the activities aren't awful too do and you'll even get a few xp in the process. Even with the old things to unlock it wouldn't be longer than a few hours.

I totally forgot about event. I started it and didn't finish. It was ok. Just wanted to do other things. It reminded me of the old events we had years ago.
