I gave Balthazar 7 tickets, got 5 protean packs today... rip trim for another month.
(18 aug 2016) Edit:
Good luck to all the players who still need to do the req.
I've decided to wait for September and I hope to get a deathtouched dart for p5.
I'm not trying any longer after all the resources I've lost and the time wasted.
Thanks to all players who helped me, I almost forgot how helpfull the RS community can be.
(11 aug 2016) Edit:
I managed to get to 96%. But keep dying at p3 or p5.
Once I get past 100% I either can't survive p3, I make too many mistakes. Or I get into p5 and don't have enough food left. I have everything writed down, I've learned the mechanics, I've watched a TON of video's, etc. I'm just not 18 anymore, My reflexes suck hard and sometimes the games start lagging once in p3. I'm over 50+ deaths and I wonder how much longer I'll take the time to waste money and sups there.
(05 aug 2016) Original post:
I'm stuck at 59%, I need to get the 100% to get my trim cape back but I simply can't get past that 59%. I'm kind of desperate because I'm wasting TONS of cash and time and don't get any % further.
I don't have the reflexes and the skill to use the right ability’s at the right time with this tick system.
My internet is so shity I have to wait till I don’t experience any lag to do boss. So what do I do? The same as some trimmers, let someone else do it? I won't do that!
Why is 100% Telos a trim-req?! Why can’t we use the mahjarrat aura?! I did pay for this and I can’t use it!
In case you guys wonder, I have no trouble at all with p1, 2 and 4. I do them pretty fast but p3 is just overkill…

Because, much like most other trim requirements, you unlock something.

Not sure, but I can understand why (at least at the moment)
P.S: Death Touched Dart works for P5/Trim req if you happen to stumble upon one.

P3 if you don't care about kill speed can be pretty simple. Move Telos a lot, so he's never stood in the red beam, kill minions asap (corruption blast/combust are great here), at 'low' enrages you can get away with just keeping pray melee on tbh, so the "Hold still" won't catch you out. Make sure to anticipate two attacks after the "Gielinor, give me strength!" attack, so you don't get stunned by the "Hold still" attack.
Without really saying what you're using or what's going wrong, nobody can really help you.

P5 is pretty easy when you don't panic - but that's always the hard part of a boss
I assume you are using blood barrage? If not, use it.
One word: Stuns. These are an absolute necessity and you need to use them as much as you realistically can.
I shall assume that you know you have to move from the rockfalls on phase 5, and thus won't mention them as they are fairly random.
At the start of P5, try and use impact on Telos, that'll buy you a couple of seconds to get back up to 100% adrenaline - launch a dreadnip too, because you may as well.
Take note of the colour of the golems that spawn, run to the corresponding font, use an auto attack on the middlemost golem as well as corruption blast and dragonbreath, the majority should be dead (they only have 4k hp, I'd be surprised if most weren't dead) - You only have to kill 4 next to the font too, so bear this in mind
You should get bled by a colour soon enough - run to the corresponding beam and "clear" the bleed. Do note that the beams do change quite soon after the first bleed.
Then, run to whichever beam out of red/yellow is closest to the font you charged earlier, launch a dreadnip and start DPSing. Start off with sunshine and rotate stuns, using as much high DPS basics as possible - remember if you are in the red beam, Corruption Blast's damage
is
boosted.
If your phase goes badly and a lot of stuns splash you'll likely have to repeat all of that again - just keep your cool, remember to utilise auto attacks as they do hit a lot.

using melee/scythe but didn't try mage yet. Now i'm just fishing for other trim reqs while i'm studying

P3 has a bit of rng to it, sometimes it goes great and other times everything goes wrong. Basically you want to have 100% adren at the start and use onslaught, after that keep attacking and keep telos out of red beam.
100% enrage is very easy, but it takes some practice, just need to try and improve.
I was able to get a death touch dart from that sweepstake thing, but I haven't even tried Telos yet... been avoiding it because of so many people saying it's hard
