Going to disagree with this (not for the reason you said, though) - If you are struggling with managing to cope with everything, throwing in manual abilities is not going to help with that.

Once you get used to it, you can use revolution in such a way that your 'control' is not compromised, and imo its perfectly viable. I personally tried using full manual a couple of times and I felt that comparatively, I dealt less DPS and that made the kills go far worse, so I went back to revolution.

If you let revolution do absolutely everything for you, then yes, your DPS is going to be terrible and you are going to have a terrible time avoiding specials, but hey, not everyone is like that, and having revolution as a back up when you are focusing on other aspects of the fight (which I recall someone mentioning as an issue), is nothing but a good thing.

This. There's no point using full manual unless you're actually good at it. Using revo allows you to focus on what's going on, and respond accordingly without having to worry quite so much about what abilities you're using where. Once you've got some practice at the boss, it then becomes a lot more viable to use FM, and ofc, just because you're using revo, doesn't mean you can't manually select <insert ability name here> when it should be used.

Yeah P3 was a bitch on higher enrages if you messed up even once, the main advice I can give is just to prioritise killing the golem things and making sure Telos isn't in the red beam. At the start of phase 3 I usually run into the red beam with 100% adren (use adren pot if needed) and just onslaught to get his HP down really quickly before he starts using his specs. As for P4...I honestly just panic spammed shield abilities when I stood by the orbs or w/e lmao, worked for me

P3 is: Gielinor, Anima bomb, Hold still

I surged from Gielinor as usual, used reflect a few attacks after whilst stood on a font, then prepared for Hold still as I usually did, ready to resonance.

Only phase the second font *just after* he does a special, that gives you a huge stall so your resonance can come back for the "So much power" attack. You'll want to asphyxiate just as he fires the second one-hit bomb (at the second font), then use impact after asphyxiate finishes. This should allow all your defensives to come off cooldown.

You'll want to be stood on the last font asap else he will do a second "So much power", which nobody wants.

As for DPSing on the font, I switched to a staff, used combust on the red golem, moved it, used corruption blast, anticipate, then killed them off with whatever abilities I had available. Don't be afraid to use a threshold, the Golems are annoying. Unslain Bosses - Clan

I think p3 is harder than p4 and p5 really. Use manual, the boss gets 100x easier when you can time all of his special attacks. Be sure to learn the rotations of his specials on each phase as well, they are very predictable and being able to heal those 4k+ hits with resonance when he stuns you on p3 is useful. Also make sure you kill the minions right away on p3. Also use those portents of life. Maybe when you start telos, warm up on a 0 enrage kill, then try to streak at your higher enrage kills until you use up your portent of life. If you are unable to use portant of life go do something else for an hour until it recharges.

I'm close to 40 deaths since I start counting them.
I get to 100 + % but still die in p3 so I never got into p5. I'm kind of giving up rn. Once I get past the 100%, p3 is really too hard for me, I can't react fast enough and I keep diying by his stamps.

To the guy wishing all unlocks for trim: gl on getting 10 yr veteran cape, krar jnr, 5.4b, ifb, etc. In other words: you can't get all unlocked in Rs, get over it. 15 years playing Runescape - trim #1160 - 5.4/5.4B XP- Proud owner of a Krar Jnr, full Keth*i outfit and MQC.

With all respect but, the guy you commented on is right. I did 100% enrage in a few deaths from start to finish with the help of one youtube video, countless of people got their comp back. You are here for help, don't be rude to other people.

I offered you to stream a kill over skype on page 1 or 2, you never hit me up with a pm. You say you have 40 deaths but.. do you really take all things into account and set up a strategy before you go in again?

If you cant do p3, thats understandable because its a bit rng, sometimes it goes fast sometimes it costs you the kill. However i do believe that after 30 attempts there must have been a reasonable good p3 for you to get into p5.

If not, i think that there is an issue on your end, this can range from your ping, to your attitude towards the kill.


My suggestion is that you re-read this thread, make a list of all the tons of helpfull tips people said, then make a plan on how to do it. If it didnt work again, post here exacly what went wrong. Im sure people are willing to help you further with that.
