solution first: make member's bank space a permanent unlock with so much as a month's membership.

the problem is a little difficult to define, but I think its also easier to imagine a lot of reasons during a pandemic that players could let membership lapse, and if they had overstuffed banks... the rumour I hear is that some things get lost. I could be wrong, but it seems like if thats true, then it should be at least considerable that the bank space unlocks go perm as... bait for getting free players to try membership at least the once?

I'm lookin at my bank and it says 762 of 1470 spaces used and idek... I could swear we used to talk about that as free/member bank slots... did it already change? do we already have that?

I have quit rsof because moderator found comments about darklight bonus damage on demons "off topic" for wildy flash mobs full of demons

That's actually no longer the issue than it had been 10 years ago. Firstly because you got even as a pure free player 170 slots (or 370 if you had been member once and claimed the 4 free bank boosters) instead of something around 80 (which really was rancid), you got options to get rid of items (tool belt) and you're actually able to sell p2p items even as a free player.

It's always been like this, that your p2p items remain in the p2p bank space, so it only would become relevant if you got more than 370 (or even 870 if you bought all bank boosters) f2p items - which only is possible if you're storing huge amounts of junk even in the former case. And if you got so many p2p (which can happen since we're just talking about 500 slots) items they start storing in the f2p space it won't matter at all if you're member or not.
