With 2016 rapidly approaching, it's time to use the New Year as an opportunity to grow even further. I'm excited to see what it brings, with Invention and new bosses, solo and group coming this year.
Getting onto the point, I am planning the following for 2016:
1)
Making the highest-tiered boss to learn require a rank.
This means in order to learn the highest-tiered boss (in this case, Yakamaru), you need to have a rank of ___ or higher (currently undecided between Recruit and Corporal). When the next top-tiered boss comes out, it will be removed for the former top-tiered boss and then placed on the new boss. This is done so we get people learning bosses because they
want
to learn, not to get a kill for their Reaper title and us being known as a "free leeching FC".
2)
Removing the drop/kill logs.
(Teamwork thread, not this version) This is a wall of text that doesn't really say much, and it can be prone to inaccuracy. To replace this, however, we instead have new people to the FC vouch for us in forum threads, both in Teamwork and HLF.
3)
New ranks!
The current list of ranks is admittedly stagnant, so we'd like to have more people undertake our trials to become a rank. Which leads us to...
4)
Reworking the trial system
to either have different ones or be based on vouches from various people from the FC. Up for discussion, and may or may not happen.
5)
Developing the offsite more.
This goes without saying. I'm planning on making a calendar with planned events, a sign-up sheet for bosses, and adding even more articles for the site. To check it out as of now, the link is https://rs3bossschool.wordpress.com.
That's all for now. Enjoy the rest of the holidays and here's to a great 2016!
