You can't just 'remove' ticks, lol, how else would you determine how quickly you can attack? The problem with ticks isn't their existence; it's that they're too slow (0.6 seconds, or 100 ticks per minute). It would be nice if they could just do some simple conversion, like multiply the number of ticks per minute by 10, and slow everything that uses ticks by 10 at the same time, but I guess spaghetti is the reason they can't do that.
