Been so long since I have done Jad, I didn't know healers could still heal after tagged, if close to Jad so I was thinking wtf is going on and missed prayer. Bit embarrassing really.

If you spend some time at Aberrants (make sure to take a Slayer contract!) you can collect a nice amount of Herby seeds in a pretty short time. That's what I was doing when I was training Farming around level 50-60-ish. There are plenty of other creatures that also drop Herby seeds but those are nice and mid-level and drop a fair amount to get you started at least. Sadly, the few times that I've gotten seeds other than guam-harralander at Miscy I've only gotten like 3 at a time, at most.
Definitely take advantage of aberrants though
Well I got loads of herbs, but only felstalk seeds, which are way out of my league!

lmao that happened to me and I panicked and got hit with several consecutive 7Ks ._.
Still managed to kill him though! (but I ate a truck load of food lol)

yea master farmers, but what do you need guams for?
For Herblore and Farming. I got some Guam seeds but already don't need them any more, after completing the Fairy tale Part I quest I have 22 Farming, and my herblore is high enough to use Marrentills now. I'll probably still grow them though while I wait to get better seeds.
The Fairy Tale Part I quest made me get a Proboscis to make the Magic Secateurs, so I ended up having to do Druidic Ritual and Jungle Potion quests and then start the Tai Bwo Wannai cleanup to hack jungle to get a swarm of mosquitos to spawn and kill the swarm to get the proboscis to finish the fairy tale Part I quest. It also made me get a potato cactus which I got from the Kalphite hive, and Jangerberries which I got off the little island with the Ogres on it West of Yanille.

Most of my seeds come from Slayer drops nowadays and I don't do nearly enough Farming to catch up to how many herbs I can grow. Aberrants will help a ton when you get to them and from there you probably won't run out unless you do Farm runs literally every 70 minutes (or however long the herby timer is?)
Master Farmers are nice for Limpwurts early on, which you should collect for your Kwuarms down the line (and Watermelons for Farming EXP on the side I suppose). I've never had to bother with eye of newt since they sell them in packs of like 50 or so at Herby shops, so Super Attacks are pretty viable once you get the Farming level for Irits. You can also buy daily Limpwurts and Whiteberries (which I would recommend doing early on). You can always catch up later and some Slayer enemies (like Iorworth Guards for Elves tasks) drop those fairly commonly.
I kinda regret not doing more Farming because I have the Herby level for Prayer Renewals and Holy Overloads but I can't farm Fellstalk yet (and that's the only way to get it
).
I get my limpwurt roots from the Hill Giants resource Dungeon. Really easy to get there.
See, I am really struggling with herb seeds. I've recently cleared out all the lower level ones (something I regretted once I started Lunar Diplomacy). I'm currently farming all of the ones I have, though I have a Aberrant task coming up. I may need to hit the turoths soon!
Dagannoths in the lighthouse drop tons of herb seeds once you have a high enough combat level to kill them.

This - Especially for white berries, they really add up over time. Get that shop done every day while doing jot.
I used the resource dungeon too until I had the Farming level to plant them. I found it more obnoxious to have to rapidly hop worlds than to buy out the shop every few hours (and plant them of course).
You can buy the secondaries from Poletax in Taverley (near the Summoning obelisk-ish) or from Lady Meilyr or the farmer in the Meilyr area of Priffy (only 5 at a time but it's quick).
Allotments are your friend if you're farming for xp.
Especially for low and mid levels. However there is no point between level 1 and 120 where are allotments are not beneficial, unless you feel you're getting enough xp from tree runs.

I actually got red barred right at the beginning of the fight because the game stopped briefly just prior to his first attack, but I survived, That luck didn't help for the rest of that attempt though lol
