with 120 slay becoming a comp req i need to get a decent setup. Is it worth getting the sliske armour with mentioned perks above the normal gwd1 sets?
You can use a Sliske Anima core set for all-around slaying but it will be slightly slower than if you used power armor torso/legs. Upside is that you will be able to save on making perks for and buying multiple armor sets, especially if you were going to use Sliske Anima for DKs or TDs tasks anyway. I wouldn't recommend using Sliske for Elite mobs though YMMV.
I'll refer you to page 68 of the general Perks thread here: 259-260-440-65763641 and an old Reddit thread about it here for more information/discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/4z6hic/best_universal_slayer_setup/
My personal Sliske set-up is Biting 2, Crackling 3+Dragon Slayer, Demon Slayer+Genocidal, and Scavenging 2+Looting for low cost/RNG frustration of making the perks. I'd prefer to use Reddit OP's set-up with Scavenging 2+Demon Slayer but I can't justify sinking the cost of remaking some of my perks for the marginal boost.
Part of me wishes we could get multiple Sunspears to have a nearly-universal weapon as well for the novelty. Won't work for DKs or TDs tasks though.

When you guys say gwd2, I assume you mean the T80 version. If so, is there any difference between that and nex gear (both augmented ofc)?
Nex gear gives the HP bonus and GWD1 protection, Normal Anima core may or may not be cheaper. Both have the same charge drain rate and Siphon XP. Obviously different components if you disassemble them.
For most any Slayer task GWD1 armor will be fine as far as DEF goes, though for Elite mobs you may want higher DEF.
Sliske Anima core won't really compare since it fills a different niche.
Edits: Sunspear digression and wording.
