This must be one of the oldest threads in high level, where a discussion actually took place, and are not about Allar's Richard's P99~ or Neo's book. I remember lurking here over 2 years ago and not allowing myself to post due to the fact that I wasn't 120 dungeoneering and did not consider myself maxed and worthy of posting in these forums. The arguments were popcorn worthy and so was their reflection on Swiftirc.

This is a piece of history that shaped the gameplay of thousands of players, and still does to this day, due to the completionist (and trimmed completionist) requirements. You can even find the infamous quote about the trimmed completionist cape by Mod Chris L here, I seriously had no idea this was still in the forums.

Not completionist enough for you Castle Wars? Well don't worry, you'll likely have something as well... ;)

Hope that helps,
-Chris

Chris had the best intentions but sadly this act of generosity ended up being the worst and only mistake (in my opinion, at least) of his career. It affected the gameplay of hundreds of players who enjoy completing everything, and locked them in a minigame for thousands of hours. Anyway, enough with that..

I had a read through the pages earlier and I have to say that this brought back a LOT of memories, perhaps even to a dangerous extent. Memories relevant to the thread, such as champions, chompies, and the house statue being considered for the 'uber' cape, and other.. not so relevant to it.

Thanks for bumping this and a big thanks to Chris for the thousands of hours he's put into this game for all of us to enjoy.
