Untrimming Comp Cape

I came back to RS a month ago after quitting 3 years ago.

So after grinding all comp reqs again, and racing to 103 archaeology( to get the music track before today's update), i found out i couldn't equip my comp cape(t).

I'm pretty sure you could untrim your comp cape if you tried to equip it without all trim reqs, but with all comp reqs.

Has this feature been removed? or was it never a thing and i'm misremembering?

Do you have any of the comp cape overrides unlocked? If not try to store your cape in the POH and take it out again. That's actually all I could imagine to do now - other than re-trimming of course.

All in all there isn't an actual reason to wear the real item anymore - the max cape is statwise identical, but cheaper to reclaim if you were to die. For the comp look you've got overrides for the base and trimmed capes then. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

That doesn't work either.

Also i just wanted the cape to do the emote again after 3 years.

I did buy another cape already.

They worse part is that you can't store both on you PoH cape rack, there is only 1 slot from "Completionist cape", and it defaults to the trimmed version when both are on your inventory.

¯\_(&#12484 ;) _/¯ oh well, guess this will never get changed as this is a problem 0.001% of the playerbase will suffer from.
