I don't like the apperance of any of the weapons and the staff's the only one I consider better than its dual wield counterpart, though marginally due to sonic wave, but more limiting since you can't tank with shield abilities while using it.
Range 2h and dual wield is as near identical as it gets, but I don't like bows so I'll just hold onto ascensions. Bow might be smoother for camping legiones since dazing shot doesn't have animation lag like needle strike do.
Scythe has slightly higher base damage than drygores, but can't compete with decimate and destroy on single targets. In terms of AoE it's
very
good with Hurricane doing 219% and quake 188% + draining defence. Cleave is still annoying to use depending on where the opponent is standing, but do 188% AoE too.
Might be better for some slayer tasks like Abyssal demons (though where aoe is good you can usually do better with barrage/burst/chins using legacy).
For me personally, who usually just slay with the occasional "easy" bosses as assignments it seems to be Nox staff > seismics marginally, Nox bow = ascensions, Drygores > Nox scythe.
