I'm getting really close to Mining cape slowly too. Not sure if I should just rely on Warbands to get it (will take a few more months still) or train it normally (using best method that is reliable enough) to get it faster.

Err.. I can't really help you with that sorry. I just bought 1-2k every time I could afford the amount and then make them. I didn't really track Gp/xp or how much I need per ~amount of potions. Sorrrrryyyy Hardstylez.
