Depends how interested you are in more important things. I realize I'm a bore to those who would rather not learn how our world works or what has happened in the the increasingly important tech industry.

Some people just honestly don't care about the technology and science that is changing the world and likely has drastic impacts on their life in the near future. I understand that and choose not to surround myself with those sorts of people for both of our benefits.
