The answer to pretty much everything, though, is that you can log into more than one account at a time. Provided you do not break any rules whilst doing so, then we will not penalise players . With that said, we hope that everyone plays within the spirit of the game.

So presumably multi logging to train 2 different skills would be absolutely fine and 2 accounts playing a minigame together is probably fine from what I can see.

It really is frustrating to get such vague answers that don't address the myriad questions people have over the detail.

Kind of funny how Balance's response actually created more confusion than previously. :P People were less confused before he made that post lol - now he's increased the amount of questions players now ask themselves. His post didn't explain everything and you could even say that he was only talking about transferring wealth and not multi-logging and training 2 accounts at once with the intention of making money for one of the accounts.

Though one could say that playing 2 accounts at once is fine (as that's what most people do anyways) and any more than that would raise even more suspicion and obviously ring a few bells. Obviously if you're playing 5 accounts at once; you're doing it with sole intention of making money and thus benefiting greatly. Although you do have to put more effort if you do this and pay more membership, so you should get more, right? :s

I don't know why they can never give a proper response regarding this rule though. They always seem to add more confusion -.-

its when it comes to using them on the same world that confusion arises and this is the interacting part.

Interaction would be things like xferring wealth, trading, challenging them in mini-games and so on. If they're doing something like fishing rocktails (this is a commonly-used example) then they aren't really interacting, until the point that they start transferring profits made on each account to the main account. This is fine though according to what Balance stated as the money made from each account has been made legitimately and not through other means such as botting or rwting.

I mean we can keep creating threads asking for clarification but what REALLY needs to be done is them to make this clarification on the official rules themselves (and properly, no vague answers) so everyone can see it forever. They need to think of all possible scenarios and outline what is and isn't allowed.

Answering on threads doesn't seem to be helping because 1) the responses aren't detailed enough and 2) not everyone reads the forums, so won't be aware of what's been said.

The problem is Jagex hire people to deal with customers and customer queries when the person has little to no training in dealing with customers so they end up giving answers which cause more problems than they solve.

not only that, i don't think a lot of the jmods know the rules so they are interpreting them in their own way and give different answers, it always happens lol
