From what i hear only players with insane amount of rings (10k+) were dealt with. Everyone else who went against Jagex's wishes made ridiculous bank. I'm disappointed in how once again Jagex let rulebreakers profit while legit players get shafted. I can't see the pri ce of the rings recovering for at least a year if ever.

Is that an assumption or?
Confirmed, I and a few others were rolled back after buying more than 10k.
I'm not sure of the exact cut off but I know a few people who bought 5k and didn't get rolled back so it was around 5-10k
Can confirm. Had 6709 rings that I posted a pic of on /runescape before the announcement and I still had them after the other post which essentially gave me 600m profit
People like the above and many others with 5k+ rings went unbanned or even rolled back/reset.

they need to just remove all the rings from the game, perhaps leave (1) in the peoples banks if they have any, all the rest need to poof.
Heck thats something that should happen yearly to many items. Keeps things from becoming stagnant, granted that may be biased on my part.
^ I don't like that way of artificially forcing items to be relevant past their time. Things are bound to get pushed down as newer content comes out, it's natural we shouldn't fight it so hard.

If someone asks me: "What does the fox say??" one more time, I'm gonna transform into a flying bullfrog and give them a leap of death.
