Those tools go straight to the stored bonus xp tab thing now, but in previous weekends bonus xp was turned off during double xp weekends. Idk how it will work this year since you have it stored in a new way. I assume it will just not use ur stored bonus xp during the event. And it will start working again after.

i was planning on doing black dhide+ sc for 30m craft because craft is like 40 gp/xp but now i dont have to if we have a double xp weekend lol
i think iirc they confirm what works/doesnt work so maybe they will this time too

Ok changed to drygores now!!!
