Idk what Michael uses but when I did them I'd use range or magic because it means I don't have to move around as much.

Handcannoneers are only like level 100 so they barely hit you, you could manage purely from soul split, maybe a unicorn if you're maging and not using blood spells :P

range/mage prob better, but I can only afford drygore atm so I figured thats prob best plus I like getting the str xp

normal dwarfs are great to kill 1 hit most of them, but ye my goal is to have a hit on every chaos creature that spawns, usually can almost all of them meleeing if u pay attention. My last pickaxe was from a dwarf and have had a bunch from them in the past
