So anyway, was just in nightmare zone, had a lot of time to think while I was there.

So I often see that people claim shields are redundant in the eoc, and want jagex to buff shields.

Imo, Shield abilities are already very good, and buffing shields would probably have a negative effect, or change nothing.

However, instead of buffing the shields, what if jagex made dual wielding and 2h drop your defence bonus/rating/armour/etc. It would make sense since gl blocking an arrow, or hell, another sharp/blunt object with only 1 hand.

Would make shields more desirable, I think.

Obviously idk if people would like that idea, people tend to dislike "nerfs" of sorts.
