I had 4 small teeth (1 top left/1 top right/1 bottom left/1 bottom right), about 4 or 5 teeth in from the front, and they were growing a little bit further in my gum, so they were slightly out of line with the rest of my teeth. If that makes any sense..
I had those removed so any teeth like 5th from the front going to the back could gradually move up to clear a little bit of space up at the back, for the wisdom ones to grow.
I can't really explain it clearly
E: It was when I was a lot younger, I didn't exactly have a say in it, and there might be other reasons I forgot for it.

I pay my dentist a visit once per year. She performs a "professional" cleaning then. But yeah, I can't complain, I'm very happy with my teeth!

Oh Cass... that's actually the one I used that my brother had recommended. Knew the name sounded familiar.
It's safe and easy to use!
