Catfish. It's a TV shown ran by a guy that got "catfished" by some 40 year old woman, he made a movie about it, but then a tonne of people started emailing him asking for help unmasking their dodgy relationships and thus the TV show was spawned.

A catfish is basically someone who isn't who they say they are online, and in the terms of the tv show, it's usually people dating others, and towards the last few seasons it seems to be a lot of people sending thousands of dollars to the catfishes. Unslain Bosses - Clan
