More Chimes from making the soups?

These will be adjusted on Monday. Cooked soup will be selling for 50 chimes (45 for uncooked) and gumbo for 45 chimes (40 for uncooked), with no upgrade unlocks. Alaea salt will also be selling for 5 chimes instead of 4. Not worth the effort and time to make.

Can you make the uncharted islands more rewarding?

Yes, even currently you gain your chimes back and possibly with a surplus if you exhaust everything within an uncharted isle. We are aware that there's a risk involved and players would rather not risk their chimes. See this thread for details of the changes we're making. They are oblivious to the time it takes making it meaningless.

How many rare resources can possibly spawn on each voyage?

Between 0 and 3, depending on the length of the voyage. This has potential to increase with the next set of islands when more skilling opportunities are added. I have three so never visiting a different island ever.
Accidently surged up a dinosaurs ass, became stuck then activated double surge and burst out its chest alien-style!
Got his dragon mattocks then crashed the clan citadel into Anachronia wiping out the dinosaurs.
