Ah okayyyy, you should check whether it has space for an SSD somewhere (some laptops you can cram an SSD somewhere), it's a good way to speed up your PC without spending too much ($60 for a 256gb usually)

It's not so much overheating, I'd just call it temperature throttling. It can be annoying when you think of how great the hardware should be able to perform, but otherwise it's not really that big of a deal if you don't have unreasonable demands. It's a laptop after all.

At least you can say you've had the reward, I think I've done about 100 Mediums in 10 years lol.
Yea that's what I'm thinking
Same with top hats and Robins, and even fewer meds here, but guessing I'll end up with about 300 on counter when I'm done..
Amazon (yes, Amazon) are selling fake phone batteries now.... lol
I wish it was easier to find someone who sells real ones - I'm super paranoid of mine exploding cause it gets ridiculously hot when doing even basic tasks now.

17 inch rogs typically have two 2.5 inch slots (and usually come prefilled with 1-2 hdds) and then they have a pcie slot or whatever that thing is right under the memories where you can put an ssd (if they don't have one). Mine came with 1 ssd and 1 hdd so I didn't really buy anything.
You can also remove the cd drive and put a 3rd hdd in there if you really need to, so there is plenty of space.
