Only reason I use NXT is because I don't boss. My clanmates are of the same opinion as you, Singularity.

Where from, Rowley? I mean I looked a while back at laptops but all the ones I wanted were £1.5k. Tbf they were like highest i7 processor, ssd, GTX 980m, 16gb ram, etc, maybe a little overkill. Probably HD/high resolution screens, too.

Maybe I should settle for middle ground.

Buying a laptop with an SSD is pointless, they charge way more than the SSD would set you back if you installed it yourself.

i7 isn't needed, I guarantee it, and GTX 960m/970m is more than enough for RS at least, with the latter being good enough for other games.

Have you tried looking at Hotukdeals, Overclockers UK, Ebuyer, Scan, Novatech, even Amazon/Amazon Warehouse? Unslain Bosses - Clan

I have about three houses that I hop between quite frequently, and though I'm most often at my uni house, I'd prefer it if I went to a different house for a week that I didn't have to lug it around. I guess I do have a laptop already so it would be somewhat redundant to get another one on the grounds I could take it to lectures, etc.

I am aware PCs are way better value for money than laptops, btw, and I would love a good PC, but I'm undecided.
