I'd suggest doing two black salamanders to level 5 to disassemble to get up to level 27 (just checked) so you can level items to 10

Doesn't take a long time at Dark beasts or something to get two of them leveled and they're cheap to do since you can only get partial exp from them (level 5 won't give much for the 1m or however much your wand/orb was)

Once you get to 60 invention I'd suggest augmenting higher level gear and using equipment siphons at level 12 gear instead of disassembling level 10 gear. Making augmentors is annoying in its own right, but making them is also expensive (something like 700k each?) by time you disassemble enough stuff.

Siphoning gear makes invention pretty lossless in terms of GP (I made something like 300m getting 120), but at the expense of being a little bit slower than doing disassembly at 10 and such.

..... In other news Gypsy Airysoioiasiuoiss Airut now has a right click option "complete" that finishes the quest for you and I totally noticed that BEFORE finishing the quests. Yup.
