I advise doing a couple of sets of subjugation though - Zam components yield good perks, so it'll save you a bit of the time in the future if you ever want to put Impatient/Devoted onto your gear (two good perks) - as disassembling level 10 Subjugation gives you 4x Zam components, compared to disassembling a Ward which is 500k at the moment and just getting one. I was thinking about augmenting items to get more components but is it worth it? Top/bottom are more than 4 times the cost of ward, and then you also got the augmentor too which costs like 600-700k at least. Hi

If you are comparing gano legs + 4x wards to 1 subjugation bottom, then yes, it is worth it. (e.g: Training Invention)

However, if you are doing it *purely* for the components, no, not really.

You get 540k invention exp on top of that which could be worth it
