I see it as recruitment, especially since you have to sign-up + the requirements to even join. It's to help herself but it's cleverly disguised as a help thread. If you don't know her, or haven't had any run-ins with her, your first impression would be: "Oh wow she's really kind and helpful! I can go far with this FC!". Until you join and found out the real truth. .
