Also I bet they've thought this through and silverhawks will count for full agility bonus with the new outfit if you already own the boots.

I don't think you need TH to unlock GWD2, it's probably just like the Falador Park event where the items from TH allow you to get more XP or something, but you can unlock without any MTX.
And outfits are always good as long as they're pretty. :3
