I think the only way is stacking 5 precious components and getting RNG.

Edit: And yeah I wasn't too excited for Invention, and yet they managed to butcher it beyond belief.

I remember that, it's probably the biggest reason why I neglect it now.
My great excitement was completely crushed by the disappointment of it, and despite them fixing some of the big flaws of it, I still have absolutely no interest in even trying to train it.
The fact it costs even further kills my interest in it, though I doubt I'd train it even if it was free.
