I think my friend said its like 370 gp per resource if you don't do the plates, and 430 per resource if you do do plates.

I've heard darts maybe decent for blade parts? Worth grabbin a few of them too or...? What about throwing axes/javelins?

From my experience, EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED!

Black knives you can get at a decent price for 10k. If you have a couple friends who don't mind buying them for you, it's not too bad. They're around 140~ each

How much GP should I expect to spend if I get like 18-40 with this method?

That Im much less sure of. The white knight stuff is decent for building gizmo shells, but you may be stuck buying a few magic longbows (back in my day...) to obtain uncommon components quickly so you can create useless perks within the gizmos. Creating the gizmos themselves isn't very good, and because white knight stuff is such a high junk rate, you don't end up with too many uncommon components from that alone.

Either way, I'd be surprised if it was more than 10m.

For that, you need 807274 xp.

One Weapon gizmo shell is 500 xp + a perk with 5 precise components is 3k xp so 3.5k xp total.

807,274/3500 = 231 rounded up.

1 weapon gizmo shell = 10 bladed parts/5 crafted parts and 2 strong parts equating to 2310 bladed parts/1155 crafted parts and 462 strong parts.

Adding 5 Precise components in each, you will need 1155 precise components.

You missed all the exp you'd get from simply breaking down the things to begin with, so really all those numbers would be lower!
