I complain because my FPS is all over the place still when using the normal client!

One annoying thing about this PC is the upgrade path is pretty much nil due to the motherboard socket (FM2+). I think an Intel CPU would suit me more, though. .

You could pick up a used i5-3450k/3570k + a Z77 motherboard for ~£80 ~£50 if you look around, sure you'd be 'buying into an outdated chipset' but with the progress CPUs have made over the past 3-4 years I wouldn't even mind, both are still great CPUs - and you can overclock them.

Or you could push the boat out and get a i7-4770k/4790k with a Z97 board (both 4790ks and Z97 boards are still available new), that way you have a really overkill CPU with hyperthreading for all that streaming and video editing you don't do. Unslain Bosses - Clan

Definitely helped me. I tried it before I'm pretty sure but I had some severe mouse lag that got really annoying - doesn't seem to be happening frequently now (only when teleporting at times).

Only worth trying if the current client is laggy, though. .
