a different one for motorcycles and different sizes of trucks.
Yeah it's the same here too, there's separate motorcycle and HGV licenses. It's really confusing

I understand absolutely nothing about cars. Except that they're overly complicated things with 4 wheels I can't drive because they're filled with too many things I need to keep track of. And not only that, but observing the traffic too in addition to all that.
My brain just says no to all that.
Perhaps with time you'll be able to, it takes a while to adapt to everything. I was pretty overwhelmed in my first lesson but you get used to it and it becomes second nature
Cars are pretty much needed here other than big cities like New York I hear. Buses are sometimes an option but they're pretty inconsistent from what I've seen and usually only go to and from the big places, so you'd need to get to a far away stop anyway
It's not the end that I fear with each breath, it's life that scares me to death
Needed here as well though I live in the middle of nowhere so that's a given.
In cities you'd be fine without it, and often you'd find that you would get somewhere quicker by public transport than by car as you wouldn't be stuck in traffic for eternities during rush hours.
