Eh, for magic the only difference is concentrated blast/sonic wave, where dual wield is better. Though in dg I suppose having to switch one item instead of 2 would be beneficial.

For range, for wield has needle strike and unload, but I don't see unload being overly useful besides at hardmode bosses perhaps..

What are some good binds right now? I have a purely melee setup with dual longswords which I use a lot but for fun and casual dungeons, and for 'proper' and 'efficient' (whatever that means in 2013) dungeons a 2h/hex setup.

My pool of binds is 2h, hex, ccs, 2x ls, bn, ssh, primal body/legs, sagittarian body/legs and 1 empty slot.

My setups are 2x longswords, blood necklace, primal body/legs for my casual melee setup. And 2h, hex, blood necklace, primal body, sagittarian body for my more efficient setup.

I was thinking about getting several of the newer items (ie knives or wand/orb) but I already have something equivalent and most likely a better option.

Not sure what to suggest really, I'll most likely stick with what I have now for eternity, unless something drastic happens. I just don't feel like working out best DPS things, I never really have done, and as I've said, I just prefer two-handers anyway.

I'm heading off. Nighty guys. :)

*Waves hello to everyone*

Anyone here from Wyoming, USA? I'd guess not, but if so, enjoy the storm! And hopefully it doesn't cause too much damage. :P Hail, rain, lightning, wind... And Leta will be in a tent hoping she doesn't blow away...
