I've never really liked bulkier armor without a big bulky helmet as well :x. Like I have a huge gripe with Torva because ever since the rework, the pauldrons almost engulf the helmet =.=.

I actually like slim and sleek armor the best. Bulky armor is gross Proud Rock Climber, Owner of the original Weekend Hardmode Vorago Team, The Supreme, The Billionaire, Author of the Red Sacrificial Teddy Bear, Owner of 3a Dyed Drygore Longs

I think it looks "Cool", but given how runescape is played, looking cool and fearsome has never been very appealing to me. I think if we were given more opportunities to be actual tanks, and ACTUALLY serve roles within gameplay, coolness aspects would be more appealing. But given how we're not really assuming roles within gameplay, since we can do anything and everything, looking cute and casual comes off as more appealing.

I've always found tank and spank games stupid.

Pure tank and spank is dumb yes, but needing to fill different roles throughout a team has always been appealing to me. Ideally you shouldn't be able to tank through special mechanics, so even the tank has to be somewhat mobiles to defeat encounters properly.
