Soloing Nex is completely out of question for me, and if I were to go there with more people I'd need to deal most damage which never happens. I've tried Nex before with some friends of mine and I never really get the drop, and that is if I even survive the kill.

Get someone to tank for you and duo it, it's not *that* hard to survive.
