Don't fast@@ It will only slow down the recovery + depending on how long you've been working out, your body might actually need some rest. It's advised that people who work out and push themselves to the limit each time, take a break of a week or 2 every 3-4 months, to allow the muscles to make a full recovery and to give them some rest in general. Obviously, you shouldn't eat as much then, but you shouldn't fast either, that only slows things down and it kind of ruins the point of resting/healing/recovering if you're going to deprive the body of what it needs.
