Yeah it can. Some systems have zero problems going through the upgrade process, while others have a bad experience.

If all your hardware are "Windows 10 ready" then you'll probably have no problems. However, if one vital piece of hardware doesn't have one (due to manufacturers not providing one) then you'll have some issues.

Depends on the system, really. That "Get windows 10" app lies as well. It says your system is ready even when it isn't. .
