Well when you put it that way the xp is indeed a lot. While I can see the spell taking a little longer, anything not '65k/hr bad' is perhaps too much along with the benefits of such a spell. Maybe the xp can be reduced?
Hi
If people alch enough items than the prices will go up like maybe 200 gp until its not worth it anymore with all the rune costs. Then they will just start alching fishing bait or something if it rly is 585k exp/h
Yes, as Lathow said, the exp can be reduced. What if the Exp was 50% what High-Alchemy give (per item alched), so it's 322 exp, instead of 488. What the xp/hour would be by then?

After thinking about it again, the xp might as well be 65 each at this point. If people want to alch for 10 times longer and get ten times the xp, then they are free to do so.
Hi
Thank you
I agree, it's not as bad. Although, if it will be daily casts, then reduction would not be necessary.
@Lathow
That's assuming the spell would be too slow, which I'm not in favor of, unless you mean there's a quick and slow options for the same spell?

Not quick and slow options, just the 10 items at once at high alch speed for high alch xp. That would provide no additional xp over the current alchemy, but would alch items at 10x the speed.
Also alching is not afk, but what you lose at abyss you make when alching so I can see arguments against high xp rates and the way I imagine them they are convincing.
