By rebooting the forums, you'll ensure that ALL forumers that reach high-tier gems have all earned it by posting legitimately as opposed to playing forum games, chatting on lounges with regulars and making post count farm threads on HLF. Rebooting also shows that "post count does not matter" which will immediately make everyone happy, and more accepting of a ranking system. I mean after all, a ranking system is clearly vital for improving forum activity!


The "not knowing" (how pc was obtained) bothers people the most about this ranking system. With a reboot and harsher rules (some of which you've already pointed out), there'll be nothing but quality forumers around! When you see a high-tier gem poster, you'll know this guy/girl is a serious forumer not to be messed with.
