I don't even know what I'd truly do if I came into possession of a superpower of my choice tbh.
Maybe I'd do good
Maybe I'd try to do good but it takes a shocking turn, and the outcome is the opposite of what I wanted it to be.
Maybe I'd want more power and become bad as I try to seek more
Maybe I wouldn't do anything much at all, and remain hidden for years, waiting for the right moment.
Maybe the superpower would negatively affect me and I'd want to remove it. I mean, superpowers are cool and all but it's not always as amazing as it sounds. Depending on your chosen power, it's sometimes better to be without it than with it.
