Well, Im the worst person to talk about TV shows with because I hate just about everything.

Anyway, if shows exist essentially for shock value, then I don't understand. GoT seems like another show in a long line of "popular" TV shows that seem to think every episode and every storyline needs a million twists and turns because it drives intrigue. The story telling is bland, and the nudity is distracting.

I didn't like breaking bad either.

All the shocking elements and twists are what make a show good.
With most shows you can just predict what happens next, its not really fun ll

Idk if you guys have seen the latest Flash
But it was kinda obvious that someone was about to kick the bucket after we saw the other Flash. Everybody who has seen/read anything with timetravel knows that the writers like to use that safedeath thing.
My money was on that cop whatever his name is, I forgot... And the deathscene and the emotions behind it were very well executed but it was predictable. So meh
